Three Syrian shorts: ‘A Very Quiet City’ by Anas Al Tawil (12 min): A short documentary which portrays daily life in the city of Homs, which suffers from a difficult reality after years of conflict. ‘Kindi 25’ by Amro Ali (20 min): The Syrian Ministry of Religious Endowments decides to evacuate Al-Kindi Cinema Hall in Damascus and convert it into a religious cultural center. At that time, Syrian filmmakers staged a sit-in for the first time in their history in protest of the decision. ‘Forgiveness has died!! Maze of survivors’ by Ahamd Alhaj (32 min): A non-violent cultural intervention in the context of healing, which represents an approach to the Syrian disaster with opera book ‘Adriana Matre (Mother Adriana).
